it's gonna take more than a diet and a workout for long term success
What do you think of when you think of personal training ?Having somebody put you on yet another diet ? Maybe have somebody put you through a workout that makes you think your about to die ?
Personal training to us is none of that, we don't believe in using terminology like dieting, we don't believe that working out is more important than the education and association that you will find in what we do, yes we train hard and make effective use of the time we have with the people we help, and we love talking about food because we believe that everybody should have an amazing relationship with food, none of this looking at food as good and bad, no demonizing carbs, no detox starter diets, everybody should be able to enjoy food, who wants to eat alone at home because they are on a diet whilst the rest of the family eating what you really wanted to but because your "dieting" then you cant or wont because your now scared to eat what was once normal, like its going to completely derail you from your gains - its not bye the way, its just food, its just calories, and if weight loss is what you want then calories are king!
You might have heard about the professor that lost weight on eating McDonalds alone, yes this is true
John Cisna weighed 280 pounds when he decided to go on the McDonald's-only diet.
After 90 days, he had lost 37 pounds, and at the end of the six months, he weighed 224 pounds.
Yes calories are king
Anyway enough about food, something else we believe is super important to what we do is the association, the association we have with what we believe in and the association that we have with each other. Something that comes up in every review we get from our people that do our programs is how they all make friends for life, friends for life because they all came just wanting to be fitter, healthier, lighter and better versions of themselves but found a belonging that keeps most here many many years, some even decades and I'm certain this will only increase with time. This is one thing that big commercial gym chains will never ever be able to compete with, you will never ever find the association that we have here any where else, something that will always be guarded like the crown jewels, and the very reason why we make everything we do now application only, if you don't fit in here then we don't let you in, we only want people around that are like minded and get on with all our gym family.
